Public Works Department strengthening and widening in the district including construction of new roads, bridges

Amethi(Utkarsh dhara 24) .Under the direction of District Magistrate Arun Kumar, Executive Engineer Lok Sabha Rakesh Chaudhary said that from the year 2017-18 till date, Public Works Department in Amethi district has covered 10.23 km to connect 16 Majras under the district plan. A cost of Rs. 514.26 lakhs has been received, adding 8 majra with which 5.82 km. Completed Rs 252.62 lakh has been spent, the remaining work is in progress. 13.60 km at a cost of 2118.90 lakhs under the Central Road Fund Scheme. The work of widening and beautification of Visheshwarganj-Sangrampur-Dhaurahra road has been done. 41.62 km for 03 works under the state plan. Approval of cost 4214.16 lakh has been received against which 1201.89 lakh allocation has been received and the work of widening is in progress, spending Rs. 1201.89 lakh. 30.88 km to connect 62 Majras under Unjudi Habitation Scheme. A cost of Rs. 1448.12 lakh has been received against which an allocation of Rs. 1386.22 lakh has been received and 30.68 km has been added connecting 61 majors. Completed Rs 1386.22 lakh has been spent, the remaining work is in progress. 24.72 km to connect 45 Majras under Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Yojana. A cost of Rs. 1204.48 lakhs has been received against which an allocation of Rs. 1150.52 lakhs has been received and a length of 21.20 km connecting 40 majors. An amount of Rs 1014.09 lakh has been spent after completing the remaining work in progress. 9.03 km to connect 15 majras under the S.C.P.P. Approval of the cost ₹ 518.06 lakh was received against which an allocation of Rs. 228.08 lakh was received and 1.55 km connecting 02 majors. Completed tax expenditure of Rs. 228.08 lakhs is in progress. 76.99 km to connect 55 majras under the RIDF-24 scheme. Approval of cost of Rs. 3500.66 lakh was received against which allocation of Rs. 3350.50 lakh was received and 76.99 km connecting 55 majors. An amount of Rs 3350.50 lakh was spent on completion. State Road Fund-5054 has been widened to 9.135 km at a cost of Rs 1171.86 lakh under the scheme. The widening and strengthening of the route from Kazipatti intersection of Bypass No-1 (NH-232) at Gauriganj to Manipur intersection of Atheha Contact Road of Pratapgarh was carried out through the entire Pal Durgan Bhawani. Under the State Road Fund-5054 scheme, Navnirman 9.83 km for connecting 8 Majras. Approval of cost of Rs. 549.86 lakhs was received against which allocation of Rs. 208.49 lakhs was received against which the remaining work of expenditure of Rs. 68.96 lakhs is in progress. Under Purvanchal Vikas Nidhi Yojana, an allocation of Rs. 184.29 lakh for the addition of 4 Majras was received, in respect of which 7.90 km was completed by adding 04 Majors and an expenditure of Rs 184.29 lakh was completed. 4 small bridges, 3.85 km. An allocation of Rs 423.86 lakh was received against which Rs 423.86 lakh was spent while completing 02 work length 2.00 km, the work of bridge in 02 small bridges is complete and the work of approach road is in progress. Under the Renovation and Special Repair Scheme from the year 2017-18 to 2019-20, Rs. 967.18 km at a cost of 10074.47 lakhs. 606 works were done and in the year 2020-21 248.13 km. 160 works of length have to be done in which allocation of Rs.1679.05 lakh has been received against which 69.80 km. 850.90 lakh has been spent on completion, the remaining work is in progress. Under the Pitamukti Scheme, 1403.86 km of roads have been made pit-free at a cost of 627.36 lakh from the year 2017-18 to 2019-20 and 293.17 km at a cost of 131.61 lakh in the year 2020-21. The pit of roads is to be freed, against which 56.00 km at a cost of ₹ 40.60 lakh. Road pit has been freed, the remaining work is in progress.
